About the Editor

Chaylee is a creative writing graduate from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She has worked in the past as an editor for Ball State's undergraduate literary magazine, The Broken Plate, and she currently does freelance editing work from home. Her dream is to make a living by working as a successful literary editor, as well to attend graduate school to get her MFA by studying editing and publishing more in-depth.

Apart from her life as an editor, Chaylee is also a writer, specializing in both short fiction and non-fiction essays. Her prose poem "Splitting Time" was recently published in Open Minds Quarterly's Summer 2014 issue.

When she is not witing or editing, Chaylee spends most of her time with family, trying

new foods and recipes, hanging out in coffee shops and libraries, visiting the gym, doing research for fun, playing the ukulele, and attending church on Sundays. Living in a beautiful small town in rural Indiana also means that Chaylee spends a lot of her time outdoors; she especially loves to go fishing.
